Your support of Virtual Animal Anatomy (VAA) goes directly back into program development. We are actively working to expand the depth and breadth of our programs. The video below displays the new virtual reality program that we are building to complement the VAA.
Disclaimer: The video displays images of dissected dogs and horses from the anatomy program. The strictest humane treatment was used during this project. All animals were euthanized prior to dissection. All work was pre-approved by the Colorado State University (CSU) Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), in compliance with Animal Welfare Act (AWA), which is enforced by United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and the Public Health Service Policy on Humane Care and Use of Laboratory Animals (PHS Policy), which is enforced by Office for Laboratory Animal Welfare (OLAW) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). CSU is also an AAALAC (The Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care International) accredited facility.
